Visiting an old friend

Jared made his way down the green hill, turning round a corner and there it is.

Just in front of him lies the new home of his once beloved friend.

It is a quite and nice place underneath an old weeping willow, where the sun is shining half the day.

He makes himself comfortable sitting with crossed legs besides the small grave and places his hand on the grass.

“Hey there… How have you been?” he asks with a tender tone in his voice, tears silently running down from his eyes.

“Miss you so much, Judas.”

Jared’s true love

After another awesome concert and the already traditional signing line after the show, the four musicians of the American band 30 Seconds to Mars enter the coldly white painted room, which was showed to them as their checkroom to grab their stuff, before they would leave with the tour bus for yet another stop on their European tour.

All band members were exhausted and sweaty, but quite happy.

Once again, they were able to captivate the audience, and make the whole venue boil, what was due mainly to, as everybody knew, their bandleader and singer Jared Leto. He is the sign, the crowd-puller of the whole group, the creative and at times almost ingenious mind of the band.
He is the one, why all the music exists, and therefore his band mates do everything to support him in all ways, when he needs it.

Today is one of those rare times.

They had hardly shut the door of the checkroom behind them, when Jared drops his smiling mask to show his real sadness.

“What shall I do?” he asks almost hysterically, looking questioning at his brother Shannon, the guitarist Tomo and bassist Tim one after the other.

Going over to his baby brother, Shannon put his right hand in a comforting way on the smaller shoulder.

“Calm down, Jared, and don’t play the drama queen. It’s not that bad,” he tries to soothe him.

Annoyed, Jared shakes off the other hand.

“You have no fucking idea!” he snaps with a furious voice.

Shannon rolls his eyes.

“You’re at a loss,” he gives up, dedicating himself to pack away his drumsticks.

In the meanwhile, Tim is taking care of his bass, while Tomo had already stuffed his violin and the guitar.

Only Jared, who has nothing to pack, because he packed his stuff earlier on stage, walks around nervously.

Suddenly Tomo exclaims excitedly: “Look over there, Jared…!” Pointing in his direction of view.

Jared turns around, his gaze following the direction of Tomo’s finger.

“I can’t believe it!” Jared cheers in joy.

Jared’s POV

When Tomo tells me to look in the other direction, I only obey reluctantly.

But then I see you.

Just in front of me.

Almost close enough to touch you.

Only some steps separate us.

Finally you’re here again.

Here, with me, my love.

“I can’t believe it!” I cheer in joy, when I’m finally able to touch you again.

Fuck, I’ve missed you.
Yet, I was only three hours without you.
How could I ever lose you, baby?

Almost tenderly I touch you with my fingers, stroking your shiny keys.

My beloved BlackBerry.

I smile until he comes over.

His cerulean eyes glancing at me, searching for a sign, while he sings teasingly “Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m sixty-four?”

He places himself on my lap, clutching his arms around my neck.

In a soft whisper, a silent plea in his shiny eyes he asks “Will you, Colin? Will you still need me, then?”

Without hesitation I pull him closer, kiss him tenderly “I will Jared, always!”

You cross your arms before your chest, still pouting.

I breathe a sigh for I know this is going nowhere.

My hand carts in my pocket, pulls out what you’re longing for.

I toss it on the table in front of you.

Would you now come home with me?”

“Sure, Colin”, you smile at me with a triumphant smirk in your eyes.

He had had a bad dream again.

Five years..., five fucking years since he and Colin broke up and he can’t get over with.

He still misses these soulful eyes of the Irishman who once was his lover and the love of his life.

Sure, he had tried to find somebody new for love, but none of them had been able to replace ‘his Alexander’.

“Damned Colin, I miss you so much”, he cries out in pain while tears fall from his sad grey-blue eyes.

For I love to see Jared being upset, pouting like a child.

He’s so cute when he acts like a five-year-old kid and stomps with his foot when he doesn’t get the attention he needs at a certain point.

There he is, storming into our bedroom; his eyes shooting flashes at me, trying to show me his cold shoulder and fails miserably.

Jared leans against Colin’s chest, clutches his arms around his lover’s neck.

He presses his lips against Colin’s and kisses him passionately.

With swaying hips against Colin’s he teases his lover until the Irishman can’t help it any longer and moans loud.

Jared smiles while he deepens the kiss.

Their hands find their ways to each other’s pants.

Impatiently they push them down.

It is then when Colin takes action.

Carefully he lays his lover down on the soft carpet and gently makes love to him.

“That’s what ‘Viva La Vida’ means, right?” he smiles satisfied at his beloved Jared.
